Storms damage Ruapehu roads
The District roads network has again suffered damage over the past two weeks due to heavy rain associated with thunderstorms. There were reports of more than 75mm of rain in 30 minutes in some areas on 10 and 1 1 February. Incidents have occurred in various areas and the problems resulting from the rain are scouring and culvert damage.
