Ulysses club to return for Waimarino show day

For the third year in a row the Ulysses Club for motor cyclists will once again put in an appearance at the Waimarino A&P Show in Raetihi. The rally comes to town at the invitation of the
Waimarino Rest Home Trust organisation. Each year their efforts to support the trust have raised anything from $300-$ 1000. Ian Stewart, one of the local organisers, said each rally usually has a theme, this year — while Ohakune
has its carrots, Ian's suggestion of the 'Mashed Murphy Rally' seems as
appropriate as any for a market gardening district. Ian' s wife Ngaire and Faith
Wise are the other two organisers and they look forward once again to a successful weekend.
