League vs union
This year is the centenary year for the Ohakune Karioi Rugby Club. Sincerest congratulations. It is also the year many rugby union players in Ohakune will convert to league. I suppose you could say they are jumping on the bandwagon with the Aucklahd Warriors. So what if they are? Is that so bad? But I can assure you that the conversions to league (will be) purely coincidental. My move to Ohakune 10 years ago meant I would have to give up league in Wellington. Also my new shiftwork job did not allow me the time to travel to Waiouru to join the Bobcats. I returned to rugby union. However today I have a list of 21 certain players
so I am returning once again to rugby league to coach any level. If anyone else would like to be involved in a growing sport please contact me. I have already made contact with the Waiouru Bobcats. I intend to call a public meeting, with the date yet
to be announced.
