Two assaults on same victim
Duncan Metekingi, 19,
unemployed of Raetihi, was remanded to 27 January to plead to two charges of assaulting Cameron John Ross. He was told that he must not associate with the complainant during the remand period and to report to the Raetihi police station every Monday and Friday between 5pm and 7pm or at some time the Raetihi-based constable determines. "He will decide when you are to report ... not when it suits you," said Judge Watson.
