Lucy Frost , Wanganui rose enthusiast, won the champion bloom prize In the inaugural Waimarino Roso Show at the Raetihi Christmas Carnival on Saturday. Despite being an avid rose fan, tending to 30 varieties in her Wanganui garden, Mrs Frost said it was the first time she had entered a rose show. Her winning bloom was "Waikato", a red hybrid tea rose.
