Hospital resource consent granted
The Ruapehu District Council has granted a resource consent for the construction of the new Waimarino health centre, to be built on the site of the former Waimarino Hotel, next to the Waimarino Cosmopolitan Club. Work on the 460-square metre building is expected to start in mid-January and take about 14 weeks.
