Waimarino's movie family, the Thompsons, rolled the credits for the last time on Saturday, for the traditional free matinee for the kids at the Raetihi Christmas Carnival. Pictured are Bruce Thompson, Emily Thompson and Leslie Thompson. Mrs Emily Thompson managed the theatre from 1947 when her husband died and worked at the theatre from the early 1930's also. Bruce and Leslie took over in the 1960's.
