Waiouru kids try tri

Waiouru school pupils were put through their paces last week with the annual school triathlon. All age groups participated, from fi ve year olds up to senior students. The length of the course was varied for the different age groups. Keen competitors completed the swim, cycle and run by themselves to earn the title of Ironman (or woman), but most participated in teams, with one team member doing each discipline. Pictured are the seven and eight year old bike section pupils waiting for the tag from their swimmers.
