Cosmopolitan Club
Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club held its annual senior citizens day on Tuesday 6 December at their clubrooms. About 50 senior citizens attended the afternoon and were entertained by eight pupils from the Raetihi Primary School with a very impressive display of line dancing. The senioir citizens then played a few games of housie before afternoon tea was served. Mrs Bernice Cochrane was given the privilege of cutting the Christmas cake this year. The Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club, committee and staff would like to thank the following people for their help in making this day successful: Raetihi Primary School line dancing team; Members of the Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club who organised and donated the gifts; Mrs Mavis Fredericksen for baking the Christmas cake; Trevor Fredericksen and the staff of the Wellington Cafe for the afternoon tea; All the workers who helpedbehind the scene
