PUBLIC NOTICES ' ' €1 PROPOSED RUAPEHU DiSTRICT PLAN PUBLIC NOTICE INVITING SUBMISSIONS Pursuant to the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1 99 1 , notice is hereby given that the Proposed District Plan for the Ruapehu District is available for public inspection. The Proposed Ruapehu District Plan may be inspectea at Public Libraries in the Ruapehu District and from the following Offices and Service Centres of the Ruapehu District Council: Huia Street, Taumarunui Manuaute Street, Taumarunui Miro Street, Ohakune Corner of Seddon and Duncan Streets, Raetihi Any person, may, in the prescribed form, make a submission to tne Ruapehu District Council on the Proposed Ruapehu District Plan. The process for public participation in the consideration of the Proposed Ruapehu District Plan involves: * Public notification of the availability of the Proposed Ruapehu District Plan inviting submissions to that document (purpose of this notification). * Public notification of the availability of a summary of all submissions received. * The provision of a further period in which further submissions can be made in support of, or opposition to, those submissions already made. * Public hearings if required. * Amendments will be made to take into account the decisions made by Council following the public hearings. * Matters arising from the decisions made following the public hearings can be referred to the Planning Tribunal. * The document will then become the operative District Plan for the Ruapehu District.
