Chartered Club pool tournament
On Saturday 19 November the annual 8 ball shield challenge was held at The Ohakune Club. The shield was presented by Barrett and Taura, R.V. Carmichael and R. Lilburn. The shield which was held by The Ohakune Club is played between Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club, Waimarino Club, National Park Club, W aiouru RS A and Ohakune Club. The day proved a great success with Waiouru RSA lifting the trophy after a close finish with Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club. Mr Richard Carmichael made the presentation to W aiouru on behalf of the firms involved.
