Weeks of planning will come to fruition with the Waiouru Summer Bash being held this Saturday. Waiouru businesses have bandedtbgethertftspbnspr .

what should be a great family day. The programme kicks off at 1 Oam and should pro vide something for all ages and abilities. There will be running races, spaghetti eating races, a Karaoke competi-

tion, a Tae Kwon Do demonstration, lolly scrambles and a lucky number draw. There is a fancy dress competition, talent quest, trick cyclist and a visit from Santa. Contests will have a new

twist at the fair, with all entrants in competitions to receive a prize - a free sweatshirt courtesy of the AGI. There will be plenty of refreshments and goodies to eat including a beer tent, hot roasties on a spit,

satays, Italian and Greek food. A detailed timetable is on this page — things should wrap up around 4pm. The Community Hall has been booked in case of bad weather so the day is going ahead rain, hail or snow.
