Shell Waiouru now provides full postal services for the Waiouru community. Doug and Ali Montgomery said they are pleased to be able to provide the service. Postal services will be available from 8am until 5pm throughout the working week and from 8am to 1 2pm on Saturdays. Waiouru's posties are coming to grips with the new system which they say is much better than the old one. The postal run has been changed and some customers may have noticed their mail arriving at a different time. As an example of this people in Camp Road used to get their mail first and now they are last, said Postie Babe Brown. The Waiouru Pricecutter now has a minimal postal service selling books (only) of 45 and 80 cent stamps. $ 1 .00 stamps are still available singly. The AGI in camp will be selling all stamps both in book form and individually . It will also serve as a depot for Courier Post, letters and the weighing and acceptance of parcels for postage.
