Neighbourly disgust
• On Tuesday around 9.30pm I heard a hissing sound. Wondering as to what it could be, I opened the front door to see neighbours across the road letting off crackers.
I though cracker night was 5 November. The hissing sound was sky rockets landing on our roof and tumbling off onto the ground, which I found the next day. Senseless act, I thought.
I suggest the person who lit the rockets to take a course in responsibility and respect for other people' s property. It's people like you who make insurance policies expensive. We have a full
replacement policy - we certainly need it. I heard over the radio and received somethingthrough the post about 'Get to Know Your Neighbours Week'. Whatajoke.
