Extra rubbish collection

The Ruapehu District Council will be providing inorganic refuse collections on 21 November for Ohakune, Raetihi and National Park towns, the council has announced. This collection is for inorganic material that is not normally collected and must be left on the street verge prior to 7.30pm on the day of the collection. Items should not exceed 100kg. Inorganic material does not include garden waste and other vegetation material. The inorganic collections will be made at six-monthly intervals in the areas that receive a weekly refuse collection.
