Waiouru post move delayed

Waiouru postal services will carry on as they are for the time being. John Connor of New Zealand Post said that due to a temporary delay Waiouru postal services will not be moving to Shell Waiouru until around 1 November. Mr Connor said New Zealand Post will notify all counter callers and private box holders by mail as well as advertising in the local papers when a date for the move is known. He said the delay is mainly due to the availability of a builder and the need to obtain a building permit. Mr Connor said that customers will be advised of services available closer to the time of the move.
