Power cards mix-up

King Country Energy would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused to users of its token operated (pre pay) meter systems on Monday 3 October. Routine programming of the meters caused a problem when the magnetic strips caused an entry of 75.06c/hour instead of 75.06c/day. All the customers affected have been identified and the meters were to be reprogrammed last Tuesday. In order to go some way to compensating for the fuss created, King Country Energy has given away free electricity which will last until the meters have been reprogrammed.
