Twenty-seven members of the Newlands Arms Hotel social club from Wellington boarded their bus outside the Ohakune Club one recent Sunday evening to return home after a busy, fun-filled weekend in Ohakune. The group spent Saturday either skiing on Turoa or playing golf at Waimarino. On Sunday the whole group were hosted by the Ohakune Club and were provided with some friendly competition darts and pool by local members.
