Later show should see record entries
The Raetihi Garden Club presents the 63rd annual Waimarino Spring Show in conjunction with the Waimarino Spring Festival to be held at the Waimarino club rooms on Sunday 24 September. The show is 10 days later than usual to coincide with Raetihi's spring festival. Show organisers are anticipating record entries with
cissi. Ashwell cup for aggregate Narcissi, Tizard cup cut flowers and shrubs, points prize cup aggregate points over cut-flower section. The hall will be open on Friday 23 September from 3pm until 7pm and Saturday 24 September 7am to 9am to take entries — please allow plenty of time to exhibit. from Ohakune Kunikraft, McLeans Bookshop Raetihi and Raetihi Four Square. Raetihi Garden Club welcomes the public to their 63rd spring show admission is adults $1, children free, open to the public at l-6pm. A leisurely browse around Waimarino's finest blooms, great raffles, trading table, afternoon tea and photographic display.
