Montana Ohakune Spring ski fest Literally hundreds of local people from Raetihi and Ohakune are making this Inaugural Montana Spring Ski Fest a possibility. From Community Groups such as Scouts, Cubs, retailers in two towns, farmers, trucking firms, logging contractors, growers, accommodation houses, industry, restaurants, night clubs, bars, schools, maraes plus many hard-working and talented individuals. The event has sparked exciting interest from media throughout the country. TV3 will be in town to make a documentary while many TV celebrities will be having fun on Turoa on 'Celebrity Day'. Neil Waaka is lending his special charm to Man-O-Man and live music in Raetihi and the Junction guarantee this is a 'Grand Happening'. 24 September - 2 October 1994 'Off the MouiitairT Programme Saturdav 24 September - Raetihi Sponsored by the Raetihi Promotion Group. To make this event the greatest ever over 150 local business and community groups and individuals have made a commitment to making it the best.
