Rita Kaiwhare and Betty Hammond played well on Wednesday 7 September to win the Howell movement with 63.60%. In second place were John and Sandra Eades with a very good 59.60%. Third place for the evening wenf to Reeve and Gillian, visitors from New Plymouth who scored 58.75%. The minor places went to Doug and Tephany Bennett as well as Jim Cranston and Elaine Goldfinch who scored 56.48% and 56.03% respectively.
