Results of a doubles night held on 29 August: Winners with no losses were Bud Abbott and Lou Most; Runners-up with two losses each were the pairings of Hira Parata/Glenn Most and Lois Penning/Lyn; Highest start Stephen Wallace with 1 70. One hundred and seventy is the ultimate three-dart start or finish and this is the first time it has been achieved in the club; Highest Score Kaylene Crossan with 1 80; Highest finish Kaylene Crossan with 60. The wooden spoon for no wins went to Rosalind Foster and Trudy Leaper. Trudy is Mark Pearce' s cousin so the coveted wooden spoon was kept in the family.
