Army Training Group Waiouru Military Camp LMIS dJ^|fXb Clerk 4th Logistic Regiment Working in the 4th Field Workshops, the Logistic Management Information System (LMIS) clerk is primarily responsible to the PWF for the operation of the LMIS system including daily data input from all work orders and the extraction of management reports routinely and for specific purposes as directed. You should have: • Keyboard skills. • An understanding of general management systems and their application. • An understanding of quality management systems. • The ability to analyse, plan and communicate orally and in writing. Other characteristics and skills which would be an advantage are: • Self motivation and an ability to work unsupervised for short periods. • An understanding of technical, mechanical, electrical and electronic jargon. • An understanding of the NZ Army ' s structure, repair, maintenance and recovery system and a knowledge of military jargon. Ideally, you should possess: • The ability to communicate effectively with military and civilian personnel on technical and non-technical matters. • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines. • Experience in the installation, maintenance and use of common Defence hardware and software. • Instructional experience in hardware/software installation and operation. • A flexible attitude to working in a recently developed area within the organisation. Together with these skills and experience, additional experience in network administration and some experience in stores management and stores accounting procedures would be beneficial.
