Ruapehu College 1st XV Rugby
Congratulations to the Ruapehu College XV - as a result of defeating Wanganui High School at Ruapehu College on Saturday, they have completed their schedule of games in the Wanganui Secondary School competition undefeated. Their record of 10 wins (two by default) and one draw speaks for itself. They scored 349 points (57 tries) and had 69 (seven tries) scored against them. On Saturday they ran rampant over Wanganui High School, relishing the firm conditions, scoring 13 tries and winning 79-0. It was a good team display by all players, with several tries being scored from deep inside their own half, with good running and passing. Shaun Mason was awarded the player of the day award.
