The Tongariro Terrors, National Park School's two newly formed basketball teams, are looking very smart due to the generous sponsorship of the Tongariro Timber Mill Ltd, National Park, and the proceeds of a raffle run at the Anzac Weekend trail ride at the National Park Railway Station. The teams are sporting blue and yellow poloshirts and black basketball shorts with black and yellow socks. The National Park School is represented in netball and basketball this season. All teams are playing in Taumarunui.
