• Waimarino Police arrested a 36-year old Ruatiti man for a domestic-related assault that occurred on Saturday. He appeared in the Wanganui District Court yesterday. • Several vehicles were broken into at the Ohakune Junction on Saturday night. Items stolen include ski jackets and car stereos. • Police attended an injury accident on the comer of Goldfinch and Conway Streets on Saturday night. As a result the driver of the vehicle will face drink-driving charges at a later date. • The August Blue Light Disco takes place this Friday 19 August, with the venue being Raetihi Primary School. Juniors can party from 5.30-7. 15pm, with the seniors taking to the floor between 8- 1 1pm. Buses leave Ohakune from the primary school at 5 . 1 0pm for the junior disco, returning at 7.35pm. Another leaves at 7.45pm for the senior disco, returning at 1 1.20pm. A bus-load of Waiouru youngsters will also be making the trip over, (seniors only), leaving Waiouru at 7.30pm.
