W&K expands in Waimarino

Raetihi stock and station agency Waimarino Livestock ceases to exist as of 1 September - in its place, another branch of Williams and Kettle. The managing directorof Williams and Kettle, John Nott, announced last week that the company has purchased Waimarino Livestock and all current staff will be retained. The existing staff of three livestock

representatives and four farm merchandise personnel includes senior staff members Bully Chambers and Bernice Frost whose combined careers span more than 50 years. The new combined business will operate from the existing premises in Ohakune and Raetihi, offering customers a full range of stock and station services and will serve to further strengthen Williams and Kettle' s presence in the district.
