Ice rink feasibility meeting soon

A public meeting to consider the state of progress and future direction of the Ohakune ice rink project is to be held to present the findings of the recently-completed feasibility study to people interested in hearing how the project can be achieved. The 2-year study resulted in the production of a limited number of copies of a 40-page report which details relevant information including: site investigations; capital costs; expense and income projections; finance costs and naming rights together with various reports, maps, plans and photographs. Results of two surveys of potential ice rink usage by visitors and local residents will also be presented at the meeting, on Saturday 3 September starting at 4.30pm. Call Dennis Beytagh 3858 736 for details.
