Waimarino Golf

A nice day at last, some wet conditions underfoot butpleasant overhead. This was reflected in the scoring at the course on Sunday. Top golfer was Neil Black in the seniors with 43 points he won the meat pack followed by Michael Lloyd with 41 points and Terry Geraghty on 40. The Juniors also had some good scoring with Richard Mabbott on 42 points winning the meat pack. In second place equal were Graham Lind and Richard Taoa. These three golfers have been very consistent during the past few weeks. Sponsor for the day was Downtown Ski and Sport. Members are reminded of the coaching clinic on 6 August and the Manson Cup against Taumaranui on 14 August. The club is hoping to take a bus - please fill in the form at the club house.
