Pharmacy owners promise the best
The Waiouru Pharmacy was purchased by Eric Kuegler in May and is now managed by Sandy Florence and Mike Wilson who own the Turangi pharmacy. Because of the combined buying power of the two
pharmacies, Mr Wilson said Waiouru customers can generally expect to pay less for a wider range of goods. Also the pharmacy is a 'Self Care' pharmacy. "We couldn't have been as a stand alone" Self care gives customers access to pamphlets and advice on most common illnesses. Mr Wilson said he believed that the future of pharmacies of Waiouru' s size was in jeopardy unless run along with another pharmacy. Mr Wilson said the
bottom line is that in Turangi they are committed to excellence and they will carry that on in Waiouru. "We will be as sharp as any city pharmacy. Whether we are; that's for the public to decide, but that's our constant aim." Mr Wilson said he was enjoying the Waiouru community and the way the community has responded to them. "It's different from Turangi, it's refreshing to have a change," he said.
