Short story opportunity
Budding writers have the opportunity to win Cash in the latest Western Districts Short Story Competition. The competition sponsored by the Waitakere Licensing Trust offers a first prize of $500, second prize of $250 and a third prize of $100. A two-part junior section offers prizes of $150, $100 and $50. The 1 0 top writers have the opportunity to be published in a booklet that accompanies the competition. The competition runs through to the closing date of 3 1 September.
