New Ohakune banking style

A brand new style of banking was unveiled when the Bank of New Zealand opened their refurbished

branch in Goldfmch Street, Ohakune, yesterday. The refurbishment is part of a nationwide pro-

gramme to improve the banking environment for staff and customers, and o ver the past four weeks the

branch has been extensively renovated. The refurbished branch has a community focus with

their aim to provide the most up-to-date facilities for customers. It also offers them a greater degree of privacy while banking. Branch manager David Cossar said that the new design incorporates customer feedback with the latest in retail design and banking developments from overseas. In terms of layout and workspace, the new improved interior makes for a very smart banking environment, he said. To celebrate the 'rebirth' of the branch, customers all this week will be presented with complimentary muffins, and local businesses with carrot loaves.
