Talent prizes for Waiouru youth

The Waiouru community dropin centre recently sponsored a talent quest for Waiouru Primary School pupils. The centre is given a certain amount of funding for activities for youth. Centre coordinator Ali Tamepo, said the committee decided a talent quest was a good way of getting some of that money out to the youth. Winners of the talent quest were: 2nd equal junior department; Newman Paurini and duo Emma Fothergill and Jaan Hoogendorn, lstSamanthaBlack and partner Tina Harding. 3rd equal for the senior department were Nicola Peretini and Marc Creedy, 2nd prize went to Kristine Clark and Alleena Hakarai, 1st place was awarded to Danley Vince on the Taiaha.
