Marketing members for council group

Five new appointments to the Ruapehu District Council' s Marketing Subcommittee were made last week, to take effect from 1 July 1994. Nominations which closed on Friday 3 J une attracted lOnominees. The appointments were made by the Chief Executi ve Cliff Houston and Mayor Garrick Workman. The successful nominees were: Bruce Clow, marketing supervisor of King Country Energy; Christopher Griffin, general manager of the Grand Chateau; Angus Grimwade, general manager of Turoa Ski Resort; Scott Lee, marketing manager of Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, and Richard Taylor, museum director of the New Zealand Army Museum. Other members of the subcommittee include Mayor Garrick Workman, Councillors June Baker and Ellen Gould, Dennis Allen from ECNZ (joint sponsor of the Marketing Division) and a representative of the Department of Conservation who will be co-opted from time to time to the Subcommittee to provide expert advice on conservation issues.
