Parapara closure

The Parapara Highway was closed for a short time yesterday (Monday) while a team from Ruapehu Construction Limited worked to clear a large slip from an area near the Banana Bridge, 8km south of Raetihi. The road was opened to one lane mid-morning and the Wanganui AA was issuing warnings to motorists to exercise caution on the slippery surfaces.
