Waiouru Bobcats

Waiouru Bobcats played hard against a scrappy Otaki team on Saturday. The team played well for a "throw together" team, according to C Hansen, the club's captain. 'They also showed good discipline, considering the team only got together that day", he said. Player of the day was Marcus Pompey who scored one of the home tries. The other try scorer was Dale Jenkins who played well up front. The full time score was 50-8 to Otaki. Although the team was not at full strength they played an excellent game. The full time score did not reflect the effort put into the game by the Bobcats.
