Bridgeon Wednesday 15 June consisted of 24 boards played over six tables. Handicapping wasn't going to deny Ron Frew and Brian Eades first place in the north- south direction, and they finished with a score of 59.47%. Gordon and Jenny Mottram have been playing consistently well over the past weeks and deserved their second place on 5 1 .42% while in third place were Pauline Le Noel and Lauretta Eades with
48.70%. The east-west pairing of Jim Cranston and Betty Hammond weren' t going to be denied their first place either scoring a very good 56/30%. Doug and Tephany Bennett were promoted up to second place with 53.03% and also promoted were Dave Taylor and Bill Te Karu who finished Up with a score of 52.62% third.
