Bridge

There were some good boards at bridge on Wednesday night with some pairs making better use of them than others. First in the north-south direction were Gordon and Jenny Mottram, promoted up from fourth place, with 55.45%. In second place, up from third, were John and Sandra Eades who scored 53.10% and in third place, after being first, were Ron Frew and Brian Eades with 50.92%. Bill Te Karu and Dave Taylor took first place in the east-west direction with the evenings top score of 6 1 .53%. Pauline Le Noel and Rener Venter scored 58.65% to take second place while third place went to George Drayton and Ellen Mitchell who finished up on 56.55%.
