Waimarino Golf

The scoring at the course last week overall was like the weather this week, low. The exception was Steve Gray who scored 49 points: the handicapper is looking forward to seeing his card. Second-equal in the juniors were Elaine Goldfinch, Alan Murdie and John Purcell on 35 points each. In the seniors Don Windle continued his good form from last week won on the toss from Grant Fountain both on 38 points. Second-equal on 37 points were Gary Imhoff and Terry Geraghty. The Presidents Trophy team went to Rangatira to play on Saturday. The team did not perform to well with only Alan Murdie managing to halve his match. This continues Andrew's good form of late. Andrew has made excellent progress for a young golfer over the past 6 months and is a good prospect for the future. Thanks were expressed to golf s sponsor for Sunday, Bucks Drapery.
