New faces at kohanga reo

Mo Te Whanau Te Kohanga Reo in Raetihi now has three new faces filling the executive positions. The three ladies were voted in to their positions at an AGM held on 26 May. Mataroa TeMuunu takes on the job of chairperson, Pewee Butler secretary and Cindy Hiroti is the new treasurer. The new chairperson said her main concern is that the kids learn the reo and everything that goes with it. "I want our kids to get the most that they can get out of it." The Kohanga has a roll of about 20 children and they are licensed to take up to 50.
