Pony club
The A.G.M. of the Ohakune Branch of the Waimarino Pony Club was held 5 May 1994. There was a small attendance at the Ohakune Branch AGM where reports were presented showing the past season was very successful and the finances in a sound state. Officers elected were: Patron: Mr I. Roke, President: Mrs J. Brausch, Sec/ . Treasurer: Mrs E. Gotlieb, Head Instructor: Mrs E. Cooper, Publicity: Mrs E.
Cooper, Instructor: Miss H. Cooper. Delegates to Waimarino Pony Club & King Country Area: Mrs J. Brausch, Mrs E. Cooper, Mrs E. Gotlieb. Branch subscriptions will remain as last year. one rider & parent $50, Further rider/ family $15, Adults - donation $10. An ordinary meeting followed where correspondence pertaining to the proposed 'Golden Games' was tabled. There games are proposed to be held in the lower North Island in January 1996 to celebrate 50 years of Pony Club in New Zealand. Branch teams are to be invited for riders who have not represented their branch, for 4 days of fun, friendship, games & trekking. Their families will also be invited to camp and help to celebrate this milestone in Pony Club history. A book is to be compiled and published and anyone with suitable "history" they are willing to write up or photos to loan, is requested to forward them to Mrs Cooper for further consideration.
