Handicapping caused quite a lot of positional changes on Wednesday night, more noticeably in the north-south direction. Tracy Ennis and Johanita Venter were promoted from third to first position with 553.13% and forced back into second place were Ron Martin and Heather Cranston with a score of 51.78% Promoted up from fourth to third were Mark Hays and Baby Tumataroa who finished on 49.65%. Sarah Hamlin and Pauline Le Noel scored the
hest marks of the evening and were justifiably the east-west winners with 66.27%. Second place was shared, before handicapping, by Gordon and Jenny Mottram and also John Eades and Ken Larsen but after the scores were adjusted Gordon and Jenny finished on 61.47% while John and Ken slipped back to third place on 56.02%.
