Moto X winner

Shaurt Fredericksen won fifth place in his age group at the New Zeatand Junior Motocross Championships at Mosgiel recently, taking out high placings in seven of his races. He travetled with a large contingent of Taupo Motorcycle Club riders to the event. With " grotty " weather before the event , the track was greasy adding to the difflcutt course which Shaun described as " technicaf with lots of tight corners, wrong cambers and drop-offs. He said he prefers a course with lots of Jumps. Shaun raced against 32 othersin the 12-13 age group on 85c c btkes, taking a first, second, third, a fifth and two sixth ptaces. He had a fall in the last race which pushed him from fourth overall to fifth. Shaun was offered a sponsorship by a Kawasaki dealer while at the event.
