• Two Ohakune youths, aged 18 and 21 years, and a 21-year old Raetihi person were arrested on Tuesday 17 May on charges of burglary , entering with intent and being | in posession of an unlicenced firearm. They all appeared in the Ohakune District Court on | Thursday 19 May but were remanded until 23 June. • A 37-year old Rangataua man was arrested on | Saturday 2 1 May for an assault on a female. He will appear f in the Ohakune District Court on 23 June. • A 41-year old Ohakune man was arrested on two | charges of assault and one charge of refusing to leave a | licensed premises. He will appear in the Ohakune District Court on 23 | June. • Ohakune Police attended a two-car collision outside : the Ohakune Rugby Grounds shortly befbre 7pm on Sat- i; urday 21 May. One of the vehicles involved travelled s through three fences before coming to a halt. Minor injuries resulted from the accident. Following enquiries a number of charges are pending.
