Ohakune Squash

With one week left of the current inter-house competition total points are: Team 1, 259; Team 2, 245; Team 3, 274; Team 4, 230; Team 5, 201; Team 6, 213. A coaching clinic was held on Sunday by Graham Randolf, New Zealand regional coach. Inter-business competition. With the completion of Raetihi' s inter-business competition this week, Ohakune will be commencing theirs next week. Teams of five are required. Anyone can enter. Teams can be business teams or family teams or just groups of friends. The emphasis is on fun and is particularly designed to cater for beginners as well as advanced with games lasting 15 minutes. Teams are split into divisions based on ability. The competition is expected to last about seven weeks. Teams play once per week either Wednesday or Thursday evening. Last year's inter-business was particularly popular with 30 teams taking part. Some missed out as their entries were too late. Anyone interested in entering a team or joining a team should contact Trinette Mott 385 8838 or John Trigell 385 8097 or pick up an entry form from the Bulletin office or Berry's Bookshop.
