Improvements to Tau-marunui-based station Peak FM ' s transmitters will mean a clearer stereo FM reception for Raetihi, Ohakune and Waiouru listeners. Peak FM 95.8 whichnow broadcastssolelyinthesouth Ruapehu region will benefit from the installation of a new two kilowatt transmitter. Later this month another

transmitter will be installed to also reach Taihape. While the two new transmitters are being tested and Peak FM's Ohakune studio

is being completed, Peak FM 95 . 8 will be relaying the Star FM station from Wanganui. Work is expected to be finished within two weeks.
