The Waiouru health group will be extending the cut-off date for its survey on local maternity services. At a meeting held on 26 April the group agreed to extend the cut-off date, as only 36 survey forms had been returned. Chairman of the group, Phil Gardyne, said he hoped that more surveys would be returned, and that if anyone has a survey, asks could they return it to either the Pricecutter store, the library or the doctor's surgery. The Waiouru health group has been asked by the Central Regional Health
Authority to name the services and requirements of the Waiouru population in regards to maternity services.
VI The group agreed at its last meeting that the best way to determine requirements would be through a survey.
