Photos prove popular
The sale of over 600 old photos, donated toy the Ruapehu Bulletin, raised over $60 for the Ohakune Public Library and enabled librarian Wendy Hubbard to purchase seven new children' s books (to the delight of these young readers.) The photos, some going back to the early 80's, were on sale at both Ohakune and Raetihi libraries and proved a fascinating pastime for the scores of people who rummaged through the two huge boxes.
