• An escaped prisoner from Tongariro Prison Farm was recaptured at Raetihi on Tuesday 19 April. He was transferred to Wanganui where he appeared in the District Court on charges of escaping and possession of cannabis. • Tools to the value of $940 were stolen from a toolbox in the back of a work vehicle parked outside Machinery Supplies, Clyde Street, Ohakune, earlier in the week. Enquiries are continuing. • Ohakune Police are investigating the most recent incident of indecent exposure after a female pupil of Ruapehu College was 'flashed' shortly before 4pm on Tuesday.
