Bridge
Ron Martin and Heather Cranston deserved first place at bridge on Wednesday 13 March by scoring consistently throughout the evening to finish on 64.13%. To the surprise of all concerned second place went to Mark Hays and Bob TumatarOa who scored 57.05%. Third place was held by Rita Kaiwhare and Betty Hammond with a score of 56.28% and fourth place went to Sarah Hamlin and Jim Cranston on 55.08%. Ron Frew and Brian Eades, who were second before handicapping, finished in fifth place scoring 53.05%, and 48.75% saw Ellen Mitchell and George Drayton finish the evening in sixth position.
